The Lost Room: The Key and the Clock (series premiere)
by Keith McDuffee, posted Dec 11th 2006 10:56PM

(S01E01) I know I've already given my thoughts on this show when I posted my 'early look' post last month, so I don't want to get too repetitive. The first thing I want to point out again is that this show is being shown as a one-shot deal, meaning it's showing more like a mini-series, one that will have a resolution at its end, not to return for another season. So don't be confused with my following our episode numbering format.
Julianna Margulies continues odd career with Sci Fi Channel miniseries
by Joel Keller, posted Aug 1st 2006 9:11AM
Julianna Margulies' post-ER career has been eclectic, to say the least. Instead of leveraging her star-making role as nurse Carol Hathaway into years of leading-lady movie roles, she has decided to go the more funky route, playing supporting roles in smaller movies (and in the summer's most anticipated cheesy movie, Snakes on a Plane), doing Broadway plays, and taking guest shots in series like Scrubs and The Sopranos. Now comes word that she will star in a "limited series" for the Sci Fi Channel called The Lost Room. Peter Krause signs on to SciFi mini-series
by Anna Johns, posted Jul 14th 2006 8:47PM
Former Six Feet Under actor Peter Krause just agreed to play the lead role in a SciFi Channel original mini-series, or as SciFi calls it, "limited series". Whatever. The series is called The Lost Room, about a motel room that contains mysterious power and all the objects in the room are charmed. Krause will play the detective who stumbles upon a key to the room, opens it up, and heaps a world of trouble on himself. His daughter, who disappears in the room, will be played by Elle Fanning, younger sister of Dakota. Filming for the series begins next Wednesday in Albuquerque, New Mexico, but no air date has been announced.TV Squad Hot Topics
