Movies on TV: Week of Sept. 28-Oct. 4

Hayley Mills in 'The Parent Trap'Get together with your family to watch the original version of 'The Parent Trap.'

Kids today may be more familiar with the Lindsay Lohan remake, but this 1961 version has even more laughs and heart. A young Hayley Mills plays twins Susan and Sharon with such an effortless charm that kids will never guess a split screen was used. Kids will also love the twists and turns to the story, which has two long lost twins switching places to reunite their parents.

And with screen legend Maureen O'Hara as the mother, parents can join in on the fun, too. The mere site of Mills will have them switching places with their kids and reliving the Disney magic all over again.
