Health Scare Sends One Contestant to the Hospital on 'Next Top Model' (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Oct 6th 2011 7:00AM
'America's Next Top Model'It looks like the competition on 'America's Next Top Model' (Wed. 9PM ET on The CW) was almost too much for one contestant. At the house, Kayla started complaining of headaches, nausua and dizziness before her situation escalated into something even worse.

By the time she started gasping for breath and throwing up, even the cameramen put down their equipment and stepped in to try and help while the ambulance was on its way. It was a pretty scary moment as she was carted away.

Maksim Chmerkovskiy Charms His 'H8R' Through Dance (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Oct 6th 2011 1:30AM
Maksim Chmerkosvskiy, 'H8R'Maksim Chmerkovskiy was the target of Rebecca's vitriol on 'H8R' (Wed., 8PM ET on ABC). She'd decided, based on seeing him on 'Dancing With the Stars,' that he was way too full of himself and that she therefore couldn't stand him.

But Chmerkovskiy knows the way to a woman's heart is through her feet. He dressed Rebecca up in one of those frilly almost-there dresses the women wear on 'Dancing' and gave her a cha-cha-cha she'll not soon forget. In fact, he quite literally had her swooning by the end.

In fact, she decided that she was no longer a hater, but now a lover. "Better look out or I'll go into heat," she laughed.

Kristin Cavallari Displays Perfect 'Booty Tooch' on 'America's Next Top Model' (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Sep 29th 2011 5:45AM
Kristin Cavallari, 'America's Next Top Model'Tyra Banks is so fierce she makes up her own language when it suits her. She schooled the models on "the booty tooch" during this week's 'America's Next Top Model' (Wed., 9PM ET on MTV). It's a simple technique of arching the back to lift and accentuate the butt.

Based on the photo of side-by-side models she used for her example, it was evident which one looks more feminine and graceful. The model who didn't "tooch" looked blocky and a little shapeless through the middle.

Banks then checked to see if guest judge Kristin Cavallari could model a booty tooch, and the reality star proved up to the task. The next question is, how many of you will be trying this some time today?

Deena Hates Kim Kardashian Because of Her Curves on 'H8R' (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Sep 29th 2011 1:00AM
Kim Kardashian, 'H8R'Deena decided to make her rant against Kim Kardashian on behalf of the African-American community, whether they wanted her to or not, on 'H8R' (Wed., 8:30PM ET on ABC). At least, that what it looked like when she was complaining that Kim had curves, saying, "I thought we had a corner on that. That's us. That's who we are."

She also took issue with the Kardashian family not doing enough for the African-American community. So Kim had to defend a perhaps legitimate argument here, and then one that sounded more like petty jealousy.

She explained that curves on women is also an Armenian thing, but that didn't seem to win Deena over. But when she talked about going to New Orleans to help after Katrina, and taking multiple trips to Africa to help impoverished people there, Deena started to lighten up.

Siobhan Discovers What Bridget Already Knows on 'Ringer' (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Sep 28th 2011 5:45AM
'Ringer' - 'If You Ever Want a French Lesson'To this point, 'Ringer' (Tue., 9PM ET on The CW) has mostly been Bridget's story, with the occasional crytpic jaunt to Paris to check in on her twin sister Siobhan. Quite frankly, at times it's looking like Shiv is trying to kill her own sister, but maybe that's what they want us to think.

One thing that may have slipped our radar, or maybe we just assumed she already knew, was that Siobhan was pregnant. Remember now everyone thinks Bridget is and she's kind of playing along.

Well, when Siobhan suddenly got sick while scoring with some random dude, she took a pregnancy test and realized what we'd already known. Will this throw a kink in whatever her plans are. On an impulse, she even called Henry -- the guy who's not her husband that she was sleeping with -- but didn't say anything.

Sarah Michelle Gellar Is Playing Identical Twins on 'Ringer,' But Thinks They're Creepy (VIDEO)

by Alex Moaba, posted Sep 27th 2011 5:00PM
Sarah Michelle Gellar is playing twins Bridget and Siobhan Martin on her new CW thriller 'Ringer,' but she told 'Rachael Ray' (weekdays, syndicated) that having a real-life identical twin would freak her out.

"The whole duality is so interesting, because everybody is one way at work and you're one way at home. And being twins ... could you imagine someone who looked exactly like you? I think that's creepy actually," Gellar said.

On 'Ringer,' the twin sisters (obviously) look identical, but have very different personalities. Gellar she wouldn't want a real-life identical twin, but joked that she wouldn't mind having a drag impersonator, or even a male fraternal twin.

Who's Expecting on the 'Gossip Girl' Premiere? (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Sep 26th 2011 11:30PM
'Gossip Girl' season premiere - 'Yes, Then Zero'It took the length of the entire episode, with several misdirections and false leads to finally get to the answer, but we did learn who was pregnant on 'Gossip Girl' (Mon., 8PM ET on The CW). It's Doroda.

Well, that's disappointing, but she fessed up when Eleanor confronted Blair about a copy of 'What to Expect When You're Expecting.' So that's the answer ... or at least as far as the rest of the cast goes, that's the answer for now.

For us at home and one seamstress, we know the truth. She guess Blair was about six weeks long when measuring her for her wedding dress, which of course Blair denied.

'The Vampire Diaries' Season 3, Episode 2 Recap

by Jean Bentley, posted Sep 23rd 2011 12:00AM
The Vampire Diaries['The Vampire Diaries' - 'The Hybrid]

Sure, 'The Vampire Diaries' plots travel at superhuman speed, but considering this was only the second episode of Season 3, there's no way Klaus was going to succeed at creating his army of werewolf-vampire hybrid slaves.

Wait, I'm sorry. "Not slaves -- soldiers. Comrades." Klaus says potato, I say semantics.

So, of course, the entire hybrid exercise was futile since the whole pack ended up dead before the full moon was over. Although Klaus did "everything he was told" (who told him these things?!) and killed a vampire, a werewolf and a doppelganger -- oh, wait, there's the problem -- instead of turning into an army of badass hybrid killers, it got really 'Trainspotting'-meets-'True Blood' up in that mountainside when the wolf-vamps started shaking like they were in heroin withdrawal and crying blood tears.

'Extreme Musical Chairs' Heading to The CW?

by Chris Harnick, posted Sep 22nd 2011 2:30PM
The CWThe CW is reportedly at work on a new reality show: 'Extreme Musical Chairs.' Really.

According to Variety, the series will take the children's game -- you know, running around a circle of chairs until the music stops, with each person sitting down except the one unlucky player who doesn't have a chair -- to new "physically demanding" lengths.

The show, from Gurin Co. and 405 Prods., may include multiple rounds on an indoor obstacle course. Sounds like 'Wipe Out' meets ... chairs?

Nigel Barker Lets Tyra Shave His Head on 'America's Next Top Model' (VIDEO)

by Catherine Lawson, posted Sep 22nd 2011 8:45AM
Nigle's haircut, on 'ANTM'We all know by now that Tyra rules on 'America's Next Top Model' (Wed., 9PM ET on The CW) and that she always gets what she wants.

This week she was feeling capricious and, although she'd previously ordered judge Nigel Barker to grow his hair super-long she announced that she'd changed her mind: "I don't think it's on-brand."

Then she whipped out an orange hairdressing cape, tied it around the neck of a clearly nervous Nigel, and went at it with a pair of electric clippers.

As André Leon Talley looked on in horror and Nigel started to make scared gargling noises, Tyra shaved off a strip right through to the skin in the center of Nigel's 'do.

'Kardashians' Star Scott Disick Decides He Hates His 'H8R' (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Sep 22nd 2011 3:15AM
Scott Disick, 'H8R'One of the easiest targets for a show like 'H8R' (Wed., 8PM ET on The CW) has to be Scott Disick. From his first appearance on 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' as Kourtney's boyfriend, fans have been polarized about him. Quite frankly, we're pretty sure most people decided pretty quickly that they didn't like him.

So he gamely went on this reality show to see if he could change the mind of one hater, Dayla. True to form, he stayed who he was, which meant arrogant, pushy and elitist. An unexpected side effect of their encounter, though, was how he wound up feeling about her.
