Jessica Lange Reveals That She Has a Tattoo on Her Bottom (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Oct 5th 2011 6:15AM
Jessica Lange, 'The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson'After admiring Craig Ferguson's tattoo, 'The Late Late Show' (Weeknights, 12:37AM ET on CBS) host got Jessica Lange to admit that she did have a tattoo. While she wouldn't say exactly where it was, she used hand gestures to indicate that it's down around back.

Joking around, Ferguson said that he obviously didn't know exactly where it was, to which Lange responded coyly, "You don't know. You forgot I'm sure."

With a smile and a wink, she appeared to have him a bit flummoxed, if only momentarily, and that's no small accomplishment on this show.

Carson Kressley, 'The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson'Carson Kressley talked 'Dancing With the Stars' on 'The Late Late Show' (Weeknights, 12:37AM ET on CBS), emphasizing that when Nancy Grace had her supposed wardrobe mishap, he wasn't looking.

"I'm straight and I wasn't looking," Craig Ferguson agreed. He then asked Kressley why he isn't dancing with a man, considering he's a gay man and that's what he'd do in his personal life.

Kressley said it was something he'd teased about before finding out who he was paired with, and genuinely considered as something he might want to do. That is, until he tried to lift up Maksim Chmerkovskiy.

Rashida Jones and Craig Ferguson Geek Out About 'Project Runway' (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Sep 29th 2011 5:30AM
Rashida Jones, 'The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson'Usually when you're watching a talk show interview, it feels like something designed either for our entertainment, or to plug a project. On rare occasions, though, it becomes a chat so intimate, you almost feel like a voyeur listening in. That's what happened with Rashida Jones on 'The Late Late Show' (Weeknights, 12:37AM ET on CBS).

She and Craig Ferguson started talking about 'Project Runway,' which is clearly a show they both love and follow very closely. They started breaking down the challenge from last week -- too many beards -- and then started getting into it about how cool judge Michael Kors is.

Mary Lynn Rajskub Says CBS Made Her Be Sexy on 'The Late Late Show' (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Sep 28th 2011 3:45AM
Mary Lynn Rajskub, 'The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson'When Mary Lynn Rajskub came onto the set for her appearance on 'The Late Late Show' (Weeknights, 12:37AM ET on CBS), she was looking fabulous. Craig Ferguson certainly appreciated her new look, but asked her what happened.

When she was evasive as to why she was so sexy tonight, he asked if it was CBS's doing.

"CBS told me I need to be hot as hell and a basket of b****iness," she said with a straight face. She went on to describe the network trying to force her to show her chest before she came out.

It looked like the audience was about to boo the network, so she had to quickly tell them she was joking. Even if they had, Ferguson was quick to point out that it hadn't worked.

Jonah Hill's Friend Almost Killed Him With a Snorkeling Prank (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Sep 27th 2011 4:00AM
Jonah Hill, 'The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson'Jonah Hill loves pranks, or maybe he's just an easy target. He recently talked about Brad Pitt pranking his golf cart on the set of 'Moneyball,' but that was nothing compared to what another friend did. Hill told the tale on 'The Late Late Show' (Weeknights, 12:37AM ET on CBS), and while he was laughing, Craig Ferguson was horrified.

This friend misled him about how snorkels work, telling him he could go as deep into the ocean as he wanted. "I went all the way to the bottom of the ocean, and when I couldn't breathe anymore, I took in a huge breath of water and came up and was choking," Hill laughed.

Ferguson, though, wondered if this was really a friend at all. The two turned it into a bit, with Hill talking about other pranks she did on him to try and kill him like poisoning his food and cutting the brake lines on his car. You know, the kinds of things friends do all the time to one another.

Billy Gardell, 'The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson'Nobody is happier for Melissa McCarthy's Emmy win for Lead Actress in a Comedy than her 'Mike & Molly' co-star Billy Gardell. He heaped praise on her as an actress and as a person on 'The Late Late Show' (Weeknights, 12:37AM ET on CBS).

"I thought her speech when she won the Emmy was incredibly genuine, and it's a real reflection of who she is," Gardell said.

But when Craig Ferguson asked if he feared this could impact their relationship, Gardell was confident it won't. "She hasn't talked to me since she won it," he joked. "I'm sure she's just busy."

James Spader and Craig FergusonNew star of 'The Office' James Spader dropped by 'The Late Late Show' (Weeknights, 12:37AM ET on CBS) and was offered a strange choice by host Craig Ferguson.

Ferguson said Spader could end their chat with one of the following: "a mouth organ, awkward pause or go for the big cash prize." After mulling it over for a while Spader opted for the awkward pause -- "I'm good at those."

Then Ferguson upped the ante. "We could add in a subtext if you'd like," he said before announcing that the subtext is: "I find you wickedly attractive and I'm trying to sneak a look at your genitals."

Cue really awkward pause with a large helping of creepy subtext.

Harry Connick Jr. Looking More Threatening According to Ferguson (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Sep 21st 2011 6:00AM
Harry Connick Jr., 'The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson'It's an awkward position to be put in when another man tells you his wife has a crush on you. Craig Ferguson certainly seemed uncomfortable on 'The Late Late Show' (Weeknights, 12:37AM ET on CBS) when he found out that this was the case with Mrs. Harry Connick Jr.

After Connick told him about the crush, Ferguson asked, "Are you gonna hit me or something, man?"

He thought Connick was looking more threatening than usual, insisting it must mean Connick has been bulking up by working out. But Connick had another way to look more intimidating.

"I bought some smaller suits," he joked. Now that's a clever way for a smaller guy to look suddenly a lot tougher.

by Jason Hughes, posted Sep 20th 2011 4:30AM
Keith Olbermann, 'The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson'Keith Olbermann was on a prediction streak, though he certainly made an unlikely one for 'Dancing With the Stars' on 'The Late Late Show' (Weeknights, 12:30AM ET on CBS). Now, he didn't come out and say that he thinks she'll win, but he did predict that Nancy Grace will do well.

As for the upcoming presidential election, while Olbermann sees the Republicans ultimately rallying behind Texas governor Rick Perry for their candidate, he sees Barack Obama repeating.

"Unless there's a sudden draft Keith movement," Olbermann said. Certainly more unlikely candidates have found themselves joining the election discussion as candidates. But if he ran with Geoff, as he suggested, which would you rather as our president and which for veep?

Danny DeVito Shows Off His New Look on 'The Late Late Show' (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Sep 15th 2011 6:00AM
Danny DeVito, 'The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson'Ever since he became famous on 'Taxi' more than 30 years ago, Danny DeVito has pretty much looked the same. But now he's sporting a brand new look, which he showed off on 'The Late Late Show' (Weeknights, 12:30AM ET on CBS).

"I just cut it all off and made it blonde," he explained. "There was a 'Vanity Fair' years ago with Marilyn Monroe on it, and I said to the hairdresser, 'Give me that!'"

Of course, with DeVito's horseshoe-pattern baldness, it's a far cry from Marilyn Monroe's flowing locks, but that isn't to say the blonde isn't noticeable. What was funnier was how excited he was about his new look. He even bought new glasses to match his lighter shade. Clearly, blondes do have more fun!

Lauren Graham, 'The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson'Lauren Graham learned the fine art of storytelling on 'The Late Late Show' (Weeknights, 12:37AM ET on CBS), and she certainly proved she was a master at the tease.

When asked if she'd been to a strip club, she replied, "Yes. A long time ago. The end." Now doesn't that just beg for more details?

But when pressed for them, she simply made some up, though it didn't seem to bother Craig Ferguson one bit. This lead to Graham realizing she would be a terrible stripper, as she lacks the "weird guts" they must have.

James Marsden, 'The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson'Somewhere at the studios of 'The Late Late Show' (Weeknights, 12:37AM ET on CBS) there is a piece of lost footage from Craig Ferguson's interview with James Marsden. The fact that it was cut out makes us want to know what was on it even more.

Fans of Ferguson's show know that he prides himself on performing off the cuff, and usually airs anything and everything that happens. This leads to some funny moments when things don't go as planned, or even awkward moments in interviews. But it's part of the joy of watching the show.

Leading into the cut, the pair were talking about the acting performances of Tom Cruise and Dustin Hoffman in 'Rain Man' -- see what we meant about anything and everything? Marsden said of Hoffman, "Come on. It's a little over the top."

Lisa Kudrow, 'The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson'Sometimes you get the chance to listen in on some very important conversations about very important things on late night talk shows. More often you'll hear celebrities shilling their latest project.
