Jonathan Rhys Meyers Stirs Up Trouble on 'The Martha Stewart Show' (VIDEO)

If only Martha Stewart had been around during the time of Henry VIII. She might have changed the whole course of the English monarchy.Jonathan Rhys Meyers, who plays the controversial king on 'The Tudors,' was stirring up more than just good eats on 'The Martha Stewart Show' today.
"If I had been one of your wives," said Martha, pounding her fist on the counter, "you would have been in trouble! You would have been a better king!"
Not only that, I'm sure she could have done some creative things with the head of a pig, as well.

'Martha Stewart' to Redecorate on Hallmark Channel

Martha Stewart is about to have her very own Hallmark moment.According to Media Decoder, the daytime host has announced plans to move 'The Martha Stewart' show from syndication to the Hallmark Channel, where it will begin airing original episodes in September.
As part of the move, 'Martha Stewart,' which premiered in 2005, will air from 10-11AM across the country, and will follow with original programming from 11AM-12:30PM. What said programming will be has yet to be revealed; however, it will be produced by Stewart's company, Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia. Also on Stewart's plate: holiday and interview specials that will air exclusively in prime time.

'The Closer'(9PM, TNT) 4th season summer finale
After tonight's fast and furious case, Brenda and her cohorts will need a little summer break. The team is tasked with investigating the death of a teenager, who accidentally blew himself up with DIY bombs.
Turns out, other bombs may exist, and when Brenda learns the target for the explosives is a high school full of students, the race is on to find the dead teen's accomplice.
Season four, by the way, will continue with a batch of five new episodes in 2009, while there's also a potential spin-off series in the works. TNT has given the thumbs up to a new drama -- rumored to be titled 'The Fixer' -- penned by 'Closer' creator James Duff and tied to Brenda and the Major Crimes Division.
Martha snags Emeril

How's this for a winning recipe? Domestic diva Martha Stewart has snagged superchef Emeril Lagasse for her empire. Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia Inc. announced today the acquisition of Emeril's franchise -- all those cookbooks, kitchen products and TV shows in which he stars -- for $45 million in cash and $5 million in stock at closing. That $50 million could swell by $20 million more if "if certain benchmarkets are achieved."Martha's purchase, however, does not include Emeril's Homebase, which includes the chef's 11 stellar restaurants, including Emeril's New Orleans and Delmonico's Steakhouse in Las Vegas.
