15 Shows That Still Have Theme Songs

'Psych' not only has a theme song, but it also changes it up every once in awhile.In a recent TV 101 column, TV Squad writer Dr. Ryan Vaughan lamented the loss of the television theme song. Briefly summarizing its apparent demise, Ryan said, "Now it seems 'theme songs' are actually just titular lines blurted out between commercials by some singing robot. Why would you throw away something so unabashedly awesome?"

Well, they haven't thrown out every theme. Just take shows like 'The Big Bang Theory, 'Psych' and the cartoon dynasty of Seth MacFarlane, for example. And that's not including the shows with memorable theme music, like 'Bones' or 'Mad Men.'

Does NBC's Olympics Theme Music Sound Familiar?

Sharp-eared TV fans have probably known this for a long time because NBC has been using the music for a while, but 'Lost' producer Carlton Cuse Twittered about it the other day to let everyone else know: a lot of the music that NBC is using on their Olympics coverage is the theme song to another show that Carlton co-created/produced back in the early 90s. Here's the video. God I loved this show.

Do you know your M.A.S.H opening credits?Are you one of those people (like myself) who can tell what era a M*A*S*H episode is from just by watching the first 10 seconds of the opening credits? Do you know the subtle theme changes by heart? Do you murmur 'Season 8' when you see the wide shot of the choppers without the initial over-the-shoulder zoom behind Radar's shoulder? If you are one of those insane people then, boy, have I got a site for you!
