Producers comment on Lost theories
by Isabelle Carreau, posted Apr 24th 2008 5:23PM
Since Lost premiered about 4 years ago, fans have been active in coming up with theories (include the now-famous time loop theory) to explain the mysteries of the show. From the start, producers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse have debunked a few of the most popular theories (e.g., they are in purgatory) and hinted that others may be legit. To help fans discuss theories and propose their own, USA Today's website devotes a section to fans' Lost theories. With these theories in hand, USA Today turned to Darlton (that's the common nickname for Damon and Carlton) to see if any could be accurate.

Today on TV Squad Daily:
- This season of American Idol came to an end last night, and to be honest I'm a little relieved.
- Mostly, though, I'm trying to make sense of the last night's season finale of Lost!

Today on TV Squad Daily:
- This is your spoiler warning! Lost was on last night, and incredibly confused. Again.
- Just because they're famous doesn't mean they're smart. Yet another case in point: Jon Schneider (Bo Duke) learned about Ebay the hard way when he put the General Lee up for auction there last week.
Lost's security system
by Keith McDuffee, posted May 11th 2006 12:14PM
Usually I'd go ahead and use the comment section for our posts to mention something like this, but I really think I'm onto something here. After seeing last night's episode of Lost, I've got some thoughts on what's going on with that weird black mist, the island "security system," as Rousseau called it.Recall in the episode titled 'The 23rd Psalm', where Eko confronted the black mist, face to ... mist. Looking closely at that scene, we could see flashing images within the mist, clearly images taken from Eko's memory. then, in last night's episode, we see many of the same images flashing in Eko's dream.
Veronica Mars: Plan B
by Keith McDuffee, posted Apr 5th 2006 10:47PM
After seeing tonights episode, I really think Darius and I are onto something with our theories about who's responsible for
the bus crash. However, now I'm wondering if the writers are throwing us a red herring with Beaver's curious reaction
(or lack of reaction) toward Mac. Is Beaver the one who's gay and not Dick, as Darius theorized? Beaver's real estate
dealings play a role in the Mayor's incorporation issues, so I could see him doing it just to make the Mayor's life
miserable. Maybe both Dick and Beaver are working together on something for once?Lost map: A breakdown
by Anna Johns, posted Apr 1st 2006 5:52PM

Where to begin? Since I posted this photo of the door map from Wednesday's Lost, a lot of people have done a lot more deconstructing and, in some cases, translating of it.
The folks over at The Hatch Online deserve a round for translating all of
the Latin (although, I don't know any Latin so I can't verify it's authenticity). As you can see in the above graphic,
it looks as though five hatches were, at one time, connected to each other and to something in the middle. We see that
there is a hatch called The Flame, to the left of The Swan hatch where the Losties are hanging out and washing clothes.
We also see The Staff hatch, which is the medical hatch that Claire, Kate and Danielle discovered a few episodes back.
There are two more hatches without a label that our castaways have not discovered. Is that where The Others are
staying? Also, is the concrete that Sayid and Jack found used to block the tunnel to whatever is in the middle of the
hatches? Near The Flame hatch, someone has written 'Alleged location of aborted #7: Each number of Heavy water table.'
Yeah... I don't know what that means.Hidden clue to Lost's timeline?
by Anna Johns, posted Jan 21st 2006 8:48AM

What does this mean? During last week's episode, Hunting Party, one of Jack's flashbacks shows him looking at an X-ray of his patient's back. The date on that X-ray: November 16, 2005. Huh??? The detail-oriented folks over at Lost-Media caught the date, which can only been seen if you have HDTV.
Was this an oversight on the part of the directors? It's entirely possible that the x-ray was made in November for a January airing. But, nothing ever seems accidental on Lost. We don't actually know when Lost happens and this X-ray suggests that it's in the future. How far into the future? Well, far enough for Jack to get himself quite a collection of tattoos.
Thoughts?

Dwight's theory on Lost
by Anna Johns, posted Jan 19th 2006 9:51AM
Dwight Schrute, the Assistant to the Regional Manager on The Office, has a theory about Lost.
He writes about it on his blog, which is
updated weekly over at NBC's website. Dwight has a couple of theories about who The Others are, the true motives of
Oceanic Airlines, the polar bears and the connection Dr. Marvin Candle has to one of the castaways. He also
pontificates a bit about which characters could kick other's asses. Dwight's theories on Lost are simplistic
and show that Dwight does not have any imagination.Rainn Wilson, who plays Dwight, really has that character nailed down. Even in his blog.
