Latest 'Dancing With the Stars' Cast Rumors: Queen Latifah, Snooki, Tiffani Amber Thiessen
by Jean Bentley, posted Aug 12th 2011 4:00PM
Derek Hough announced Friday that he was returning to 'Dancing With the Stars' after taking the spring season off, and now TMZ is reporting that he'll be joined by several famous women.According to TMZ, Queen Latifah, Tiffani Amber Thiessen and 'Jersey Shore' star Snooki will all compete for the mirrorball trophy on Season 13 of 'Dancing With the Stars.' Although these are only rumors, TMZ has been right before. Besides, Us Weekly reported on the Snooki rumor a few weeks ago.
Elsewhere in the 'DWTS' rumor mill are Christina Milian, Rob Kardashian (both named in the Us Weekly report) and Lindsay Lohan's mom, Dina. Though we're pretty sure the Kardashian one is true, we're a little skeptical of the latter -- especially since producers have apparently decreed that they only want bigger name stars this fall.
Staff Crush: Kelly Kapowski of 'Saved By the Bell'
by Alex Moaba, posted Feb 9th 2010 5:00PM
In honor of Valentine's Day, AOL TV's staff will be revealing their crushes all week.Like a generation of kids who came of age in the mid 1990s, 'Saved by the Bell's' Kelly Kapowski was the first girl -- fictional or otherwise -- that I ever had a crush on. This was not because she was the captain of the cheerleading team, a waitress at The Max or one of the three females at Bayside High graced with a speaking role.
No. It was because Tiffani Amber Thiessen was smokin' hot. Even at an age where I remained mystified by the vagaries of long division and writing in cursive, this much I knew for sure.
Saved By The Bell -- DVD Review
by Brett Love, posted Aug 8th 2007 9:55AM
It's always interesting going back to see something that you were once fond of again. Sometimes they hold up, and sometimes you are left shaking your head wondering what could have been in the air in 1982 that made you like this pile of crap. That's how I headed into the new Saved By The Bell double feature DVD, which includes "Wedding in Las Vegas" and "Hawaiian Style."Somewhere along the lines Saved By The Bell ended up rerunning on cable at the perfect time to fit into my daily routine, and I got in the habit of watching it regularly. I'm not positive that I have seen every last episode, but I know I'm pretty close. So, you could say I was a fan of the show. That, or I really should have popped for the more expensive cable plan all those years ago.
