Christopher Titus Talks About Working with Fox, Round Two, and a 'Special Unit' Movie
by Nick Zaino, posted Jun 17th 2010 1:30PM
In 2000, Christopher Titus had an unexpected hit with 'Titus,' a dark sitcom based on his troubled family life. The show was taken mostly from his one-man show, 'Normal Rockwell Is Bleeding,' which he honed both in theaters, for the quieter, less funny moments, and in comedy clubs, to make sure it made people laugh out loud. But Titus was used to the creative process as a stand-up comedian, where he was writer, director, performer, and everything else, and he butted heads with Fox and its rotation of network presidents over the three-year span of his show. 'Titus' was eventually canceled after Titus got into an argument with network head Gail Berman.
'House' - 'Knight Fall' Recap

(S06E17) "If you force him to choose, you might not like the answer." - Cuddy's advice to House on how to handle Wilson reconnecting with his first wife
One of the hardest things for a long running show to do is keeping the audience guessing. That's not normally a problem for 'House,' a show that throws around more 15-letter medical words and scientific terms than a 'NOVA' marathon.

Seven TV dads we're glad aren't ours
by Danny Gallagher, posted Jun 21st 2009 10:22AM
Fathers' Day should be a time of deep reflection and appreciation for the man who brought you into this world, whether you asked him to or not. Oh sure, the old man may seem like the worst father of all time sometimes. He yells and screams. He gets on you for growing your hair too long because he knows he couldn't grow hair if he had a Chia Scalp. He constantly walks around the house in his underwear and then scolds you for not eating the sausage Mom made for breakfast.
But a few minor flaws doesn't mean that he's a bad guy. So go out and get him that witty card with the pipe smoking Dad on the cover, pick out a paisley tie that you'll never see him wear and give him a big hug to remind him he's the best. Because he's your old man and he's not one of the seven bastard sons of hell below.
Actor Stacy Keach in the hospital - VIDEO
by Danny Gallagher, posted Mar 19th 2009 4:29PM
One of television's longest and hardest working actors is in the hospital. Stage, screen and television actor Stacy Keach suffered a stroke and has been admitted to a Los Angeles hospital for observation.
Fortunately, it doesn't appear to be life threatening or extremely serious. His reps characterized the stroke as "very mild" and said it has not impaired or affected his speech "whatsoever." That's good news since he's still working on the stage and screen.
Stump the King - Tennessee Tuxedo

I got another letter from a TV lover in need. Unfortunately, I have no memories of the show being described. If any of you can help out, please do.
"I remember a show that came on TV when I was a kid. Most memories are mid to late 80s. I can't remember the first half, but for the last 5 minutes of so of every show, the host, an elderly gentleman, would go draw on a large sheet of orange paper the size of a freestanding revolving chalkboard. "
Casting News: Christopher Titus, Carrie Ann Moss, Billy Baldwin, more
by Brett Love, posted Feb 27th 2007 10:45AM
It's that time of the year. People are being cast in pilots left and right and some interesting stuff has been announced. At ABC, Christopher Titus (Titus) has landed one of the lead roles in an untitled project from Warner Bros. The show focuses on CEOs and also stars Dylan McDermott (The Practice) and Michael Vartan (Alias). McDermott and Vartan as CEOs is an easy sell. But Christopher Titus, Senior VP Harvard graduate? That's different, and something I look forward to checking out. Carrie-Anne Moss (The Matrix) is set to star in ABC's Suspect. The show is a procedural that will solve crimes by tracking suspects through a lineup. She's joined by Eric Palladino (ER) and Kathleen Munroe (Beautiful People). The ABC track record for procedurals is less than impressive, but the addition of Guy Ritchie (Snatch) as director is intriguing enough to give this one a look.
