Ronnie from 'Jersey Shore' Taking His Brawling Skills to the Wrestling Ring
by Alex Moaba, posted Oct 21st 2011 11:00AM
Ronnie Ortiz-Magro from 'Jersey Shore' has proven himself adept at bed-throwing and boardwalk brawls. Soon, he'll be able to let out some of that aggression in the wrestling ring.Ronnie has signed on for two episodes of Spike TV's 'TNA Impact' wrestling, according to the New York Post. Ronnie's episodes will air November 3, and feature him wrestling alongside legends like Hulk Hogan and former Olympian Kurt Angle.
For incredibly obvious reasons, wrestling has been a popular off-season outlet for the 'Jersey Shore' cast. Snooki appeared on WWE's 'Wrestlemania' in April and both JWoww and Angelina flashed their fighting skills on 'Impact.'

Wrestling: The Monday Night War Is Back
by David Hofstede, posted Jan 5th 2010 11:30AM
Wrestling fans still have a nostalgic enthusiasm for the 1990s, when every Monday night brought five hours of choke slams and sleeper holds courtesy of World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and World Championship Wrestling (WCW). Back when WWE's 'Monday Night Raw' aired opposite WCW's 'Nitro,' both companies created new superstars, crafted envelope-pushing stories and even unleashed a few dirty tricks, like WCW revealing match results from WWE's pre-taped episodes, all in a battle for ratings supremacy.
The war ended when WWE purchased WCW in 2001. 'Raw' has aired unopposed ever since -- until tonight.
