NBC picks up latest Adam Carolla project

Jeremy Clarkson's long lost American clone has scored some more TV time. Former Man Show and Top Gear USA host Adam Carolla has put together a pilot for a new sitcom and it has been picked up by NBC.
So far, it's just a pilot order and not a promise for an actual series. It's also the second pilot order Carolla has scored since his radio show was pulled out from underneath him by the tightwads at CBS Radio.
This latest pilot is about a contractor who finds his life in shambles after a divorce. If it goes to the airwaves, expect Carolla's trademark hardware sarcasm surrounding toggle bolts and cordless drills with adjustable torque clutches.
