(Unaired) This episode was depressing to watch. Why? Because it never made it to air. This, my friends, is a fine example of what Firefly is all about. It's when you get a good mix of science fiction and good ol' Western-like heists and gunplay that this show shines. But I have a confession to make -- this was the first time I saw this episode.

Isn't there a saying about, after a nuclear holocaust, all that will be left on the earth are cockroaches and Jerry Springer? If not, there should be. Jerry Springer just signed a deal with NBC Universal Distribution that keeps his trashy talk show on in most of the country through the 2006-2007 television season. Oh, joy. Springer's already in his 15th season of hookers, battling brides, baby daddies, incest and toothless cheaters. Wasn't there also an episode where people induced vomiting as foreplay? Uck. What else is left to showcase? Seriously.
