Eric Throws a Drink in Jen's Face on 'Basketball Wives' (VIDEO)
by Laura Prudom, posted Aug 9th 2011 1:00AM
'Basketball Wives' (Mon., 8PM ET on VH1) sure knows how to end a season with a bang -- or should that be a splash? After an eventful "divorce party" (months before her divorce was actually finalized) Jennifer Williams got into yet another heated argument with soon-to-be ex-husband Eric, and insults weren't the only thing being hurled ...The episode saw fabulous costumes, drunken debauchery and a pinata full of condoms (yes, really) but it was Jen's outdoor fight with Eric that will be generating buzz for weeks to come.
After accusing Eric of ignoring letters from her attorney, things got a little more personal, with Eric committing the cardinal sin of invoking his wife's age.

by Alex Moaba, posted Jun 4th 2011 12:00PM
It was a wild week on the TV machine. A new batch of summer reality competition shows started, leaving us to enjoy their William Hung / Pants on the Ground phase.Donald Trump ate pizza with Sarah Palin, and Anthony Weiner tweeted a picture of his weiner (allegedly), which both served as great fodder for late night comedians and daytime hosts.

Drama Doesn't Know When World War II Happened on 'Rob Dyrdek's Fantasy Factory' (VIDEO)
by AOL TV Staff, posted Sep 28th 2010 4:57PM
When was World War II? That's the question Rob posed to Drama on last night's 'Rob Dyrdek's Fantasy Factory' (Monday at 9:30PM ET on MTV). Drama had no clue. At first he guesses that it was in 1965, which is, um, a few years off. Then, after realizing from Rob's reaction that he wasn't right, he guesses between 1969 and 1974. Which would mean that we were fighting in World War II and Vietnam at the same time!
Sigh. How can anyone not know -- even within five years -- when World War II took place? Apparently Drama did not watch 'The Pacific.' At the risk of sounding like a curmudgeon, this generation might not be the greatest.
Julianna Margulies Talks About the New Season of 'The Good Wife' (VIDEO)
by Bob Sassone, posted Sep 28th 2010 4:40PM
Who should Alicia choose on 'The Good Wife'? Julianna Margulies was on 'The Early Show' (weekdays at 7AM ET on CBS) to talk about the new season of the show, which premieres tonight at 10PM on CBS, and gave a few interesting facts to host Harry Smith. From what she's heard from fans, younger viewers tend to think she should go with her boss, Will (Josh Charles), while older people -- and all men -- think she should stay with her cheater husband Peter (Chris North). Everyone else thinks she should still be with Doug Ross.
She also talks about the upcoming guest appearance by Michael J. Fox, who will be playing a lawyer with Parkinson's.
Orange County Choppers Team Uses Jet Engine to Test Windows (VIDEO)
by AOL TV Staff, posted Aug 20th 2010 3:54PM
And we're not talking Windows 7, though I can picture the Senior Teutel doing one of those "Windows 7 was my idea" commercials. No, we're talking about an actual window, which the Orange County Chopper guys tested last night on 'American Chopper: Senior vs. Junior' (Thursdays at 9PM ET on TLC).The jet engine blasts the window but the window takes a lot of beating before eventually melting and collapsing. Then the rider takes the little ATV for a joyride. The flame coming out of the back looks really cool, like the one on the Batmobile.
Melissa Joan Hart Makes Regis Nervous (VIDEO)
by Bob Sassone, posted Aug 20th 2010 2:07PM
Melissa Joan Hart appeared on 'Live with Regis & Kelly' (weekday mornings, check local listings) and talked about her new show 'Melissa & Joey,' how she met her husband, and about why people called him "8-hole Wilkerson."It's not an insult, it actually has to do with the piercings her husband used to have on his face. Regis seems a bit freaked out that he had that many. Hey, they're less permanent than tattoos.
Raw Nipples Lead To Another Big 'Maury' Moment (VIDEO)
by AOL TV Staff, posted Aug 17th 2010 5:01PM
'Maury' (weekdays, check local listings) always has a moment when one person is exposed for doing something nasty about another person. A woman finds underwear in a car and strange marks on her fiance's chest and she puts two and two together.A lie detector test reveals that he's lying about where he got the marks, and the woman has the reaction you'd expect to see on this show.
'Mike & Mike' Discuss Profanity in Football (VIDEO)
by Bob Sassone, posted Aug 17th 2010 4:37PM
Actually, it's guest hosts Erik Kuselias and Cris Carter who discussed swearing in football during today's 'Mike & Mike in the Morning' (weekdays at 6AM ET on ESPN2), to be precise. The subject came up because of former-coach Tony Dungy's recent comments that the NFL should fine N.Y. Jets coach Rex Ryan for cursing so much on his 'Hard Knocks' reality show. Dungy doesn't like swearing and demands that his players use clean language. Of course, most coaches and players aren't like that. They've been around a swearing culture since they were kids. In a violent sport that suffers from a myriad of off-the-field criminal problems, it's somewhat of a juvenile battle for Dungy to wage.
Crumbling Cakes Cause Chaos on 'Cake Boss' (VIDEO)
by AOL TV Staff, posted Aug 17th 2010 4:03PM
The danger we see on most of these cake-oriented reality shows isn't that the cakes taste bad or they're made badly, it's from crumbling. Watch 'Challenge' on Food Network or 'Cake Boss' (Monday nights at 9PM ET on TLC) and there's always a panic when the cakes start to fall apart or tip over. This clip from 'Cake Boss' shows a cake building falling down. Luckily, Joey was there to fix the problem.Like most problems in life, the solution is butter cream.
Rob Dyrdek Moons His Manager (VIDEO)
by AOL TV Staff, posted Aug 17th 2010 1:43PM
Everyone has their own ideas about what's funny and what isn't funny. Rob Dyrdek's manager doesn't think that Dyrdek pressing his butt cheeks up against his office window is funny at all, as we see in this clip from 'Rob Dyrdek's Fantasy Factory' (Mondays at 9:30PM ET on MTV). Can someone explain what the manager means when he yells "I don't even want to know what that is!" He doesn't know what it is?!?
Daredevil Runs Bases While on Fire, Sets Record (VIDEO)
by Bob Sassone, posted Aug 17th 2010 1:04PM
I'm sure most people didn't even know that there was a world record for running while on fire, but there is, and a new record was set over the weekend. As this clip from 'SportsNation' (weekdays at 5PM ET on ESPN2) shows, daredevil Ted Batchelor ran the bases at a Savannah Sand Gnats minor league baseball game and broke the record. He runs about 300 feet, which tops the old record of 200 feet. The question is, does the 'SportsNation' audience think it's awesome or lame?
T.O. Invites Kita's Ex to a Baby Shower on 'The T.O. Show' (VIDEO)
by Bob Sassone, posted Aug 16th 2010 4:42PM
This seems more like a scene from 'The Bold & The Beautiful' than from a reality show, with its tears, dramatic, tinkly music and overdone acting. It's from last night's 'The T.O. Show' (Sundays at 10PM on VH-1). T.O. invited manager Kita's ex-boyfriend to a party without asking her first. Oh, her boyfriend is married. And oh, they broke up and she thought she already had closure. At first she doesn't want to talk to him, but if she didn't there wouldn't be much reason to watch, right?
The ex says that he didn't lie to her, but not telling a woman that you're married from the get-go seems like a pretty big thing to not tell someone.
Tara "Destroys" Heather on 'Ochocinco: The Ultimate Catch' (VIDEO)
by AOL TV Staff, posted Aug 16th 2010 4:12PM
They're still battling over Chad Ochocinco on 'The Ultimate Catch' (Sundays at 9PM ET on VH-1). Last night, Tara ripped into Heather with a rant worthy of Don Rickles. Not really sure what Heather did to deserve it besides wondering out loud if Tara was serious about the show, but every time Tara says a sentence (in between licks of her ice cream) you expect her to say "boo-boop-ee-doo!"
Kathie Lee & Hoda Try to Improve Their Posture (VIDEO)
by Bob Sassone, posted Aug 16th 2010 1:45PM
The picture on the right shows 'Today' (weekday mornings at 7AM ET on NBC) hosts Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb trying on the latest hat fashions that are coming out of Paris and Milan. Well, OK, it's not fashion, it's books, and they're using them to learn how to walk correctly and have good posture. This is something that we've seen for years, people balancing books on their heads to learn how to walk correctly. Hoda and the guest seem to do it just fine but Kathie Lee has problems. It's a good thing they didn't try this on Wednesdays, when the women have their wine.
ESPN Loses to The Jonas Brothers at Softball (VIDEO)
by AOL TV Staff, posted Aug 16th 2010 1:13PM
Is it embarrassing for a sports network to lose to a teen pop band at softball? Guest-host Erik Kuselias of 'Mike & Mike in the Morning' (weekdays at 6AM ET on ESPN2) doesn't think so. He and others from the network played The Jonas Brothers and their roadies/managers last week and lost. But Kuselias was a hero to his daughter and his nieces because they got to meet the three brothers.TV Squad Hot Topics
