Judy Greer Talks Ashton's New 'Two and a Half Men' Rival, Another Bluth for the 'Arrested Development' Movie & More

by Maggie Furlong, posted Oct 24th 2011 1:15PM
Judy GreerJudy Greer is one of those actresses that pops up in a million places at once, and always manages to elevate whatever she's doing with her quirky sensibilities and impeccable timing.

Her 'Two and a Half Men' character Bridget (the second character she's played on the show -- she's that good) is the one who left Ashton Kutcher's Walden Schmidt brokenhearted and forced to shack up with Alan and Jake Harper. This week (Mon., Oct. 24, 9PM ET on CBS), we'll meet Bridget's rebound man, played by 'True Blood' star Joe Manganiello.

Since Kutcher got naked for ratings in his big premiere, could the eternally shirtless Manganiello (we're not complaining) be stripping down for his big introduction, too? "He could, at the drop of a hat, take off his shirt and give Ashton a run for his money," Greer joked.

Greer also talked about the "fresher" new 'Men,' her upcoming film 'The Descendants' with George Clooney, where she thinks her 'Arrested Development' mess of a character Kitty Sanchez might be today and if she'll pop up in the much-anticipated 'AD' movie.

Charlie Sheen 'Extremely Disappointed' With New 'Two and a Half Men'

by Catherine Lawson, posted Oct 24th 2011 9:45AM
Charlie SheenHonestly, after all the bitterness and mud-slinging that went on for most of this year, we didn't think Charlie Sheen would be able to play nicely with the 'Two and a Half Men' camp for much longer. Oh, to have been a fly on the wall at Casa Sheen when he heard that the Season 9 opener got a whopping 28 million viewers without him ...

Sheen said that he "loved" the new Kutcher-led 'Men' when it debuted, but now that ratings for the comedy have dropped off by 50 percent since then, he's let it be known that he's not happy with the direction that 'Men' is headed in.

According to TMZ, Sheen said he's "extremely disappointed" with the way the show's producers are "handling what I left behind." When asked by a photographer for an explanation of why the audience numbers have been plummeting, he said "People aren't stupid ... not all of them."

Alan Discovers His Girlfriend's Secret Past on 'Two and a Half Men' (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Oct 18th 2011 12:45AM
'Two and a Half Men' - 'A Giant Cat Holding a Churro'After getting shut down by Lyndsey, Alan found himself sitting up and watching television with Walden on 'Two and a Half Men' (Mon., 9PM ET on CBS). As happens late at night, one of the channels switched to their softcore porn offerings, where the two were treated to a familiar face.

It was a younger version of Lyndsey -- we loved that Courtney Thorne-Smith gave intentionally wooden and terrible line readings for the scene. Alan couldn't stand the secret, so he went to confront her about it.

Jenny McCarthy is Back on 'Two and a Half Men,' Targeting Walden (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Oct 11th 2011 5:00AM
Jenny McCarthy, 'Two and a Half Men' - 'Nine Magic Fingers'We're four episodes in, and Walden Schmidt is still the lovelorn sad sack on 'Two and a Half Men' (Mon., 9PM ET on CBS). But if Walden's that character, where does that leave Alan?

This week, Courtney (Jenny McCarthy) swooped back into the picture. Same agenda, only this time her target was possibly even more receptive than Charlie Harper. For a guy who's broken up about his marriage's collapse, he's certainly open to having lots of sex.

Courtney, of course, was only in it for the money. When Bridget offered her a settlement to leave, revealing that she knew the truth about who Courtney really is, she bailed and Walden was back to being sad and alone.

Is 'Two and a Half Men' Cursed?

by Maggie Furlong, posted Oct 5th 2011 6:10PM
'Two and a Half Men''Two and a Half Men' has survived its fair share of TV scandals. I mean, we all saw what happened to Charlie Sheen, right? But the latest headlines about Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore's marital troubles have us asking: Is 'Two and a Half Men' cursed?

Hear me out. During his eight-season stint on 'Men,' Sheen racked up two marriages and divorces, the birth of four children, an arrest, a stint in rehab, the departure of his two best goddesses and one very public personal and professional meltdown.

Now that Kutcher has taken the reins at 'Men,' his personal life and six-year marriage to Moore have become the focus of an increasingly salacious series of reports. Rumors have been swirling about naked hot-tubbing with a 23-year-old girl (the same age as Moore's eldest daughter, Rumer Willis, I might add), and the latest headlines say that he's moved out of their house.

For a couple hitherto known for tweeting playful and sexy pictures of each other, their cryptic Twitter activity of late is quite a 180. And the timing couldn't be more interesting ...

Judith Just Can't Stay Mad at Walden on 'Two and a Half Men' (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Oct 4th 2011 5:45AM
'Two and a Half Men' - 'Big Girls Don't Throw Food'Looks like Walden isn't done stirring things up on 'Two and a Half Men' (Mon., 9PM ET on CBS). This week, he got his particular wiles into Jake. See, Walden dropped out of high school and was a millionaire by the time he was 19. His grades struggled because he was too smart.

Jake latched onto that, and decided that he too would drop out of high school and become an entrepreneur. But neither Alan nor Judith were on board with this plan at all, and Judith showed up to give Walden a piece of her mind about it.

Ashton Kutcher Riles CBS With Product Placement Antics

by Chris Harnick, posted Sep 29th 2011 2:30PM
Ashton KutcherWell, it took two episodes to get there, but CBS is reportedly displeased with Ashton Kutcher on 'Two and a Half Men.' It's not his performance that's causing ire, it's his laptop stickers. Say what?

According to E! Online, Kutcher appeared on screen using a laptop as Walden Schmidt, his new Internet billionaire character. On the character's laptop were stickers for technology companies including Foursquare, Flipboard, Chegg, The Hipmunk and GroupMe.

The stickers make total sense since his character is in that field of work, but CBS didn't approve the advertising.

Alan and Walden Wind Up Naked and Lying Together on 'Two and a Half Men' (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Sep 27th 2011 5:15AM
'Two and a Half Men' - 'People Who Love Peepholes''Two and a Half Men' (Mon., 9PM ET on CBS) definitely feels like a completely different show with Walden Schmidt. For the second episode in a row, though, they did manage to get him naked. At least this time he was covered by a blanket rather than pixels.

After a bender to drown Walden's sorrows over his impending divorce, he and Alan were convinced to go skinny dipping by Berta, whose voiceover throughout the episode made it clear where her thoughts lie in regards to her new employer.

Judy Greer returned to the show, only this time she's Walden's ex-wife Bridget. So rather than a womanizing middle-aged man, we have a sad and suicidal lonely younger guy that even Charlie's ex-girlfriends can't say no to.

Charlie Sheen, Chuck Lorre and Warner Bros. Settle Lawsuit

by Alex Moaba, posted Sep 26th 2011 7:25PM
In the latest act of Charlie Sheen's atonement tour, the former 'Two and a Half Men' star has reached a settlement with Chuck Lorre and Warner Bros., according to a report in Deadline. Sheen had been suing the parties for $100 million, claiming he was wrongfully terminated from the hit sitcom.

In a statement, Warner Bros. confirmed news of a settlement. "Warner Bros. Television, Chuck Lorre and Charlie Sheen have resolved their dispute to the parties' mutual satisfaction. The pending lawsuit and arbitration will be dismissed as to all parties. The parties have agreed to maintain confidentiality over the terms of the settlement."

Last week, the L.A. Times reported that a settlement was likely to pay Sheen somewhere in the neighborhood of $25 million.

While Sheen is looking to clean up his many messes as he attempts to sell his 'Anger Management' pilot, the Season 9 premiere of 'Two and a Half Men,' which killed off Sheen's Charlie Harper character, drew massive ratings.

'True Blood' Hottie Joe Manganiello Headed to 'Two and a Half Men'

by Maggie Furlong, posted Sep 24th 2011 3:00PM
Joe ManganielloHow will 'Two and a Half Men' try to maintain their surge in ratings after saying goodbye to Charlie Sheen's character (rest in peace in that dust buster, Charlie Harper) and welcoming Ashton Kutcher's Walden Schmidt into the fold?

Let's just say we like the casting choices we're hearing.

First, Judy Greer will be popping by throughout the season to play Kutcher's TV ex, Bridget, and now EW is reporting that 'True Blood' star Joe Manganiello will be playing her hot new boyfriend on the Oct. 24 episode.

Yes, Bon Temps' sexiest werewolf is a nice (if not totally unexpected) addition to the show. He also pretty much ensures that Bridget and Walden will never get back together -- sorry, but no one leaves that -- meaning Walden will be around to be Alan's (Jon Cryer) sugar daddy for a while.

Top 5 Clips of the Week: Emmys Beauty Pageant, Sheen Roasts Himself, 'X Factor' Flasher & More (VIDEO)

by Alex Moaba, posted Sep 24th 2011 1:30PM

This week didn't let up. Between the Emmys and the start of Fall TV, it's all kind of a blur -- but there were some moments that stood out.

The Outstanding Actress in a Comedy Emmy nominees putting on a little beauty pageant warmed our jaded hearts, Charlie Harper's death on 'Two and a Half Men' was cathartic and Sheen's speech at his Comedy Central Roast was actually ... funny.

As the week moved on, we fell hook, line and sinker for the publicity stunt that was the 'X Factor' Flasher. And the final TV scene of 'All My Children,' a bizarre cliffhanger overflowing with soapy goodness, pretty much tied the whole week together.

Check out the clips after the jump to relive the week that was, and vote for your favorite in our weekly poll.

Was That a 'Dharma & Greg' Reunion on 'Two and a Half Men'? Thomas Gibson Explains

by Chris Harnick, posted Sep 21st 2011 9:40AM
Dharma and Greg Reunion'Two and a Half Men' viewers went into a tizzy when Thomas Gibson and Jenna Elfman popped up as potential buyers of Charlie Harper's pad in the Season 9 premiere, seemingly reprising their 'Dharma & Greg' characters. But were they really playing Dharma and Greg?

"I don't think it really was Dharma and Greg," Gibson told AOL TV. "It was a Dharma and Greg-like couple perhaps."

So was it more of a wink at the audience than an actual reunion? Gibson explains the uncertainty: "Well, you see actually because 'Dharma & Greg' was a 20th Century Fox show for ABC and 'Two and a Half Men' is a Warner Bros. show for CBS."

Charlie Sheen Roast Ratings Were Comedy Central Record

by Alex Moaba, posted Sep 20th 2011 5:15PM
Somehow, Charlie Sheen is still winning -- in the TV ratings game, anyway.

Comedy Central's Roast of Sheen was the highest rated roast in the network's history, as 6.4 million viewers tuned in to watch Sheen skewered. Including re-airs, the total audience reached 10 million. It was the second-highest rated telecast in Comedy Central history.

Not only was the Sheen roast a ratings success on TV screens, but chatter about the event also dominated social media. According to trendrr.tv, the Roast garnered 450,000 social mentions, which dwarfed several other prime-time Fall TV premieres, including 'Dancing With the Stars' and 'Two and Half Men.'

In terms of laughs, the roast didn't disappoint. Comedians and celebrities from Jeffrey Ross to Mike Tyson to Roastmaster Seth MacFarlane gave Sheen their best shots, making fun of his drug history, public breakdown and affinity for prostitutes.

Charlie's Ashes and Walden Schmidt Share Scene on 'Two and a Half Men' (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Sep 20th 2011 1:46AM
'Two and a Half Men' - 'Nice to Meet Your, Walden Schmidt'For a brief moment, Charlie Harper and Walden Schmidt shared the screen on the season premiere of 'Two and a Half Men' (Mon., 9PM ET on CBS). It would turn out to be Charlie's last appearance -- sort of -- and Walden's first. Granted, Charlie was ashes at the time.

After quickly moving past the funeral of Charlie, filled with jilted ex-lovers, before the opening credits even began, Alan began the process of moving on. As part of that, he decided to scatter Charlie's ashes on the beach.

Why he took the lid off the urn before he got to the beach was pretty obvious once a soaking wet Ashton Kutcher peeked through the back door. This way we get the sight gag of Charlie's ashes flying through the air as Alan shrieks and throws his arms up.
