I like Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I don't love it, but I like it. I didn't watch the show when it was on, but about a year ago I wound up living with some people who worshiped at the altar of Joss Whedon so I got a crash course in both Buffy and Angel thanks to the DVD sets. I'm sure the more fanatical Buffyheads may have already discovered this, or perhaps it's already on one of the DVD sets, but for anyone who missed it, YouTube has the original unaired pilot of the series. Sarah Michelle Gellar still stars as the slayer of the undead, and regulars Nicholas Brendon and Charisma Carpenter appear also, but Alyson Hannigan has yet to be cast as Willow. You can tell by watching this little gem just why it never made it to air, because it's not that good. Watch at your own risk here.
