Novak Djokovic Quip About Between-the-Legs Shot Cracks Up 'Morning Joe' Crew (VIDEO)
by Jeremy Taylor, posted Sep 3rd 2010 5:15PM
Neither Joe Scarborough nor Mika Brzezinski were on Friday's 'Morning Joe' (weekdays, 6 AM ET on MSNBC), but the rest of the gang still managed to get a little sexual innuendo in, via tennis star Novak Djokovic.Willie Geist played a clip of Djokovich hitting an amazing shot at the US Open, and then Djokovich being interviewed after the match.
"You hit an unbelievable backhand," the interviewer in the clip said, before wondering if Djokovich has "that tweener shot between the legs."
"No I have something else between my legs," Djokovich joked, much to the delight of the crowd at Flushing Meadows.
It also delighted the Morning Joe panel.
"Good answer," Geist complimented. "He didn't have room to return."
We think that may have been a reference to Djokovic's, um, largess. Whatever it was, Geist's quip caused Chris Jansing to crack up even more.
