Tiger Woods Busted? Voicemail to Jaimee Grubbs Played on 'Early Show' (VIDEO)

by Donald Deane, posted Dec 2nd 2009 1:02PM
Jaimee Grubbs, a cocktail waitress who appeared at one time on the reality TV show 'Tool Academy,' alleges she's had an affair with pro golfer Tiger Woods since 2007. In an exclusive interview appearing in US Weekly magazine this week, Grubbs says the affair began after she was approached by Woods in a Las Vegas nightclub only two months before the birth of his first child -- and, she says, she's got a voicemail to prove it.

Bradley Jacobs, a senior editor from US Weekly, appeared on 'The Early Show' this morning and played a voicemail that Grubbs alleges Woods left her. On the recording, a man is apparently taking steps to cover up an illicit affair for fear his wife will find out.

Friends reunion update: it probably won't happen (but not because of the actors)

by Bob Sassone, posted Nov 17th 2009 1:30PM
FriendsSo this is the 9,327th article that has been written about a possible Friends reunion. A lot of fans would like to see one but it seems that there have always been one or two holdouts that are preventing a reunion from taking place. But those holdouts might not be the actors themselves.

Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe) tells US that a reunion, whether on TV or on the big-screen, will probably never happen because the creators (Marta Kauffmann and David Crane) don't think it's a good idea. Kudrow isn't sure how a reunion would work anyway, but she seems to be up for it if they can do something interesting.

Would you want to see a reunion? Friends is one of my favorite shows, but I'm wondering how they could do a reunion. Would it be the same without the old set (Monica and Chandler bought a house and Joey moved out to L.A. to...well...star in a short-lived sitcom)? They'd have to get Central Perk in there somehow.

1984 Pepsi ad turned out to be a lot of trouble for Michael Jackson

by Bob Sassone, posted Jul 16th 2009 1:01PM
It's weird to look back at the Michael Jackson Pepsi ad from 1984 (the one that actually aired) and think that it caused so many problems in his life. US Weekly got hold of the footage that never aired, of Jackson's scalp catching on fire, causing second and third degree burns to his scalp and face. The magazine claims that this accident is what led to MJ's addiction to both painkillers and plastic surgery.

This is surreal footage, and at first I thought it was footage from the TV movie made about Jackson's life, but it's real. That's Miko Brando in the hat helping Jackson. Brando has been on Larry King Live many times recently. After the jump, the ad that aired. It's worth noting that Jackson went on to do other Pepsi ads after this.

Paris: The Morning After

by Bob Sassone, posted Jun 28th 2007 11:01AM

ParisDid you see Paris Hilton on Larry King Live last night? Here's the transcript. Jeez, she really did nothing to help her cause, eh? She seems honestly, sincerely, and deeply clueless. And as a guy, I don't even find her hot or appealing. She has the personality of a wicker chair. I found all of her talk about wanting to help people and learning her lesson and "reading the Bible" completely unconvincing.

After the jump is a roundup of what the internet is saying today about her appearance.

K-Fed discovers personal hygiene

by Annie Wu, posted May 31st 2006 9:36PM
Kevin FederlineOkay. I promised myself no more Kevin Federline posts. He's cheesy, greasy, and any other negative word that rhymes with "sleazy"... not to mention over-publicized. However, I just had to make an exception when I stumbled across these pictures (via Oh No They Didn't!). Us Weekly posted previews of a photoshoot K-Fed did for the upcoming June 5 issue of Item magazine. Amazingly enough, they managed to get him to swap his ratty cornrows and his mustard-stained wifebeater for a tie and some French cuffs. It's really a remarkable change. Maybe if he keeps this up, he'll be able to pull himself and Britney out of "celebrity white trash" status.

Ryan and Teri...sittin' in a tree?

by Bob Sassone, posted Mar 29th 2006 5:44PM
Can this possibly be true? American Idol host Ryan Seacrest and Desperate Housewives star Teri Hatcher are seeing each other?! Check out the pictures from US magazine.

I don't know. This does look a little staged for the cameras, as PR, or maybe they're filming something? Who knows, maybe it's true.  Let the speculation begin!

Abdul: Almost fired?

by Bob Sassone, posted Mar 23rd 2006 3:18PM
Paula AbdulUS Weekly is reporting that American Idol judge Paula Abdul was almost fired last month. Supposedly, there was a lot of tension on the set, in general and not just between her and co-judge Simon Cowell. According to a source, Paula "was being very difficult...crying all the time...arriving late for meetings." Supposedly (again), Abdul was treated for exhaustion and dehydration. Producers reportedly were thinking about replacing her with either Jessica Simpson or Britney Spears (wow, that would have been stupid).

I don't understand what all the controversy is about. Watching Abdul, I think she looks normal, refreshed, and has been completely coherent this season. *Cough*

Unless something drastic happens, Abdul will be forever our girl. For this season anyway.

Is Kellie dating Constantine?

by Bob Sassone, posted Mar 16th 2006 6:00PM
ConstantineI guess it says something about the power of American Idol and how much it has seeped into our culture that I can just mention the first names of two contestants (one from the past) and everyone knows who I am talking about. US Weekly says that Kellie Pickler met Constantine at an Idol party last month and are now dating. For the record, Pickler says that they aren't dating, and that she's still "on the market."

I love it when a woman refers to herself as being "on the market," like she's a sack of oranges. If I used that phrase I'd get slapped.

Oh, and please, please, please let this be the first and only time that someone refers to her popularity as "Picklermania." Jeez.

Britney, Kevin sue US Weekly

by Anna Johns, posted Dec 20th 2005 5:37PM
britney kevinI saw the episode of Chaotic where Britney talked about having sex with Kevin, made out with Kevin, and got drunk with Kevin. So, Kevin and Britney making a sex tape doesn't sound that far-fetched to me. It didn't sound far-fetched to US Weekly, either, when it printed the story, Brit & Kev: Secret Sex Tape? New parents have a new worry: racy footage from 2004. The story cited a reliable source, saying that some of Britney's entourage threatened to release the tape to the public. It said Brit and K-Fed told their lawyers about the threat and even watched the tape with their lawyers. Britney is suing US Weekly, which ran the story in October. She says there's no X-rated tape, no threat, and no viewing with lawyers, y'all! Britney and K-Fed filed a $10 million lawsuit in Los Angeles this week. Her lawyer says she finally filed a lawsuit against the tabloid because she's fed up with all the false stories it prints about her.
