Vicki Tells Tamra About Her Marriage Falling Apart on 'Real Housewives of OC' (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted May 23rd 2011 5:31AM
Vicki Gunvalson, 'The Real Housewives of Orange County'Tired of living a public lie of happiness and contentedness, Vicki opened up to Tamra on 'The Real Housewives of Orange County' (Sun., 10PM ET on Bravo). It was hard hearing her talk about how empty emotionally and intimately her marriage has become. Unless you've been there, we'd imagine it's impossible to fathom the depths of loneliness and sadness such an existence can lead to.

Especially when you're putting on a brave face for friends and family. "We're not intimate at all," Vicki confided. "All I wanna do is be touched. Just a hug at the end of the day."

The biggest reason she'd kept it inside for so long was because she felt like a failure, having failed yet again in a marriage. But is this collapse of their intimacy really her fault? Marriage is a two-way street and it takes two to decide to simply part ways when they get home, rarely seeing one another much less talking or hugging.

Vicki Wants Out of the 'Real Housewives' Reunion Show (VIDEO)

Real Housewives of Orange County, VickiVicki, Vicki, Vicki. First of all, where did you get that hideous dress? Seriously, did you play like Scarlett O'Hara and rip a curtain off a window?

And if you don't want to fight on national TV, why on earth would you sign on for a show like 'The Real Housewives of Orange County' (Thu., 9PM ET on Bravo)? That's what you guys do – fight, make up, fight, make up. That's really about all there is to it.

So either get with the program, or move on to a show like 'The Marriage Ref.' Yeah, you'd probably fit right in over there.

Vicki Comforts Tamra on 'Real Housewives of Orange County' (VIDEO)

by Jane Boursaw, posted Mar 5th 2010 3:53AM
Real Housewives of Orange County, Tamra, VickiEven though they can be shallow, petty and whiny, it's still disheartening any time a divorce enters into the equation on 'The Real Housewives of Orange County' (Thu., 10PM ET on Bravo).

Tamra thinks that's just where she's headed with Simon, and turns to Vicki for guidance. And Vicki has some darn good advice.

"You've gotta stop him from controlling you," she told the distraught housewife. "You are gonna control your own destiny. You can't let anybody else do it. At the very end of the night when you put your head on the pillow, it's your life." You can't argue with that.

On the other hand, is Vicki really one to be giving marriage advice?

Simon Compares Vicki to Hitler on 'Real Housewives' (VIDEO)

Real Housewives of Orange County, TamraIt's one thing to fight with your wife's friend, but quite another to compare her to Hitler.

"Everyone has a good side," Simon says to Tamra on 'The Real Housewives of Orange County' (Thu., 10PM ET on Bravo). "Hitler had a good side. He was very nice to Eva Braun ... he had some dogs and he took care of the dogs, but he was evil anti-Christ."

You know ... like Vicki. We especially love the editing on this scene. When Tamra cranks her head to look at Simon, it's like that "dramatic hamster" video on YouTube.

Jeana says goodbye to Real Housewives of Orange County

by Allison Waldman, posted Nov 23rd 2009 9:03AM
jeana_keough_bravoI haven't been as interested in The Real Housewives of Orange County this season, and now I'm about to check out permanently. My favorite wife has left the show. Jeana Keough said an on screen "adios" to the Real Housewives of Orange County. She's not actually moving, but she's off the show by choice.

Jeana Keough has always impressed me as the smartest, most normal and down-to-earth housewife of the bunch. She had a completely insane marriage to Matt Keough, an ex-Major League Baseball pitcher for the Oakland A's, but she worked to keep it together. Her kids were a handful.

They were all grown up and in high school or post-high school life, but Jeana was supportive and interested and tried to be a positive role model. In her finale, she was able to show her kids pursuing their lives and bringing her pride. I think Jeana's "pal" Vicki Gunvalson wishes her children were as loving to her as Jeana's are to her.

Jeana Keough Leaves 'The Real Housewives of Orange County'

by Amy Kuperinsky, posted Nov 20th 2009 11:45AM
Jeana KeoughAlluding to some of her castmates as "mean girls" during last night's episode, Jeana Keough of Bravo's 'The Real Housewives of Orange County' officially left the show.

"I am through with the housewives and all their drama," she said.

Now in its fifth season, the show based around the lives of wealthy women in Orange-County, Calif., was Bravo's first edition of the 'Housewives' franchise. Keough, a real estate agent and former Playboy playmate, was part of the cast from the first season.

"I'm over you," said Keough of the rest of the housewives, when co-star Tamra Barney visited her house. "I think Tamra must like being the mean girl," she added, referring to Barney's refusal to apologize to co-star Gretchen Rossi for derogatory remarks and accusations in previous episodes.

Yet in Barney's solo aside to the camera, she was just as blunt:
