Gordon Ramsay Doesn't Like Jimmy Kimmel's Jokes About Victoria Beckham (VIDEO)

by Catherine Lawson, posted Jun 16th 2011 9:12AM
Gordon RamsayGordon Ramsay may be a big chef now, but in his youth he was known for being quite the soccer player. So it's not that surprising to hear that he and his wife like to go out for dinner with their friends soccer legend David Beckham and his wife Victoria -- a.k.a. Posh and Becks -- from time to time.

Ramsay was telling an anecdote about one such outing on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' (Weeknights, 12AM ET on ABC) when he lost his cool after host Kimmel kept interrupting him. It was a lively night for the person with their finger on the ABC censor button as the potty-mouthed chef started cursing.

The problem was that Kimmel simply couldn't get his head around the idea of the famously super-skinny Victoria actually letting food pass her lips. (And we're sure he's not the only one.) When Ramsay -- let's face it -- rather implausibly claimed that Posh "eats like a horse," Kimmel said, "What kind of a horse? A very thin horse. ... One of those carousel horses?"

Eva Longoria Introduced Victoria Beckham to the Fun That Is a Baby Shower (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted May 17th 2011 5:07AM
Eva Longoria, 'Lopez Tonight'Victoria Beckham may look like she has it all, but there was one thing she knew nothing about. Of course, it was more of a cultural thing, but Eva Longoria still rectified it, as she explained on 'Lopez Tonight' (Weeknights, 12AM ET on TBS).

She threw Beckam a baby shower. "They don't do showers in England." To make matters worse, "she was really nervous because she's not a game person."

Longoria's hairdresser egged Beckham on, advising her to wear a waterproof dress and bring an umbrella. But Beckham clearly had fun, as evidenced by a photo she Tweeted of several party-goers dressed in toilet paper dresses.

David and Victoria Beckham Arrive at the Royal Wedding in Style (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Apr 29th 2011 6:35AM

David & Victoria Beckham, Royal Wedding coverageYou can't have a proper Royal Wedding (Fri., 6AM ET on FOX) without England's most famous non-royal couple in attendance. David and Victoria Beckham arrived looking dashing and sophisticated, as they usually are at these big gala events all over the United Kingdom.

Fashion reporter for Sky News Lucy McDonald was on hand to explain the styles, and she was quite impressed with Victoria's self-made design.

"She's become huge in the fashion world in the last few years and I think it's a really lovely style," she said. "It suits her pregnant form."

David Beckham Considers Wacky Names for His Baby Girl (VIDEO)

by Aimee Deeken, posted Apr 1st 2011 5:20AM
David Beckham on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live'Victoria Beckham is pregnant with her fourth child with husband David Beckham. In early ultrasound results, they were told it was a boy, the soccer pro said on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' (weeknights, 12AM ET on ABC). Beckham recalled the former Spice Girl saying, "'Oh, another penis in the house.' She thinks there's too many in the house already."

But further ultrasounds confirmed they are in fact having their first daughter. The couple has asked their three sons for ideas on her name. Can't get much weirder than Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz, right?

Wrong. Romeo suggested "Justin Bieber Beckham." His father added, "Now we know it's a girl, he's like, 'How about Justine Bieber Beckham?'"

Victoria Beckham Is Impressed the Tabloids Know the Sex of Her Fourth Baby Before She Does (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Feb 16th 2011 6:15AM
Victoria Beckham pregnant, 'Late Night with Jimmy Fallon'Victoria Beckham and her husband David have discovered a new power that the tabloid magazines apparently possess. On 'Late Night' (Weeknights, 12:37AM on NBC), she talked with Jimmy Fallon about her fourth pregnancy. He asked her if she was, in fact, having a girl, as he'd read in the tabloid magazines.

"The bizarre thing is that the tabloids think they know the sex of this baby before we do," she said. "It's kind of scary. I'm like, how do they know? We have no idea."

You're talking about the same class of magazines that predicted Michael Jackson's death every week for fifteen solid years before it finally happened, and keeps close tabs on the current location of Bat Boy. Of course they're going to know the sex of the fourth Beckham baby before the Beckhams do.

Couple Gets Makeover to Look like David and Victoria Beckham (VIDEO)

by Donald Deane, posted Mar 19th 2010 3:30PM
Rachael Ray takes a husband and wife from her audience and gives them a makeover to look like celebrity couple David and Victoria Beckham on 'The Rachael Ray Show' (weekdays, syndicated).

The couple is outfitted in clothing similar to what the Beckhams have worn in the past, and the wife receives an angular hairdo. But, sadly, the similarities post-makeover seem to end there.

Wow, there were a few whack jobs at the Denver auditions of 'American Idol,' including Bikini Boy (see above). But also an adorable kid who drew pictures for the judges, as well as a few good singers who got sent through to Hollywood. After the jump, let's take a look at some of the Denver auditions.

Reviewcap: American Idol - Auditions #1: Boston

Alright, everyone! It seems like just moments ago that Kris Allen was crowned the new American Idol, but now he and runner-up Adam Lambert are old news. It's time to find the next superstar. This is going to be a big season: It's the first one without Paula, the first one with Ellen, and the last one with Simon. So let's just sit back, relax, and enjoy some auditions!

We start out with a look back at last season, and I'm sure Kara DioGuardi loves the fact that they're opening up with her ripping her dress off onstage with The Bikini Girl. Ryan talks about Paula leaving and shows a clip of Ellen announcing that she'll be the new judge. She looks so cute and excited! I can't wait for her to get on the live episodes. For now, however, we have guest judge Victoria Beckham. Am I the only one who forgets that she talks? I'm just so used to her posing, hearing her voice freaks me out.

Now Paula Abdul might want to come back to Idol

by Bob Sassone, posted Aug 17th 2009 12:09PM
AbdulIf this is true (and it's still in the rumor stage), it's not a big shock: Paula Abdul is thinking about coming back to American Idol.

TMZ is reporting that Abdul is seriously considering coming back to the show she recently left because they didn't offer her enough money. They're also reporting that Abdul is ticked because the show is giving Victoria Beckham $275,000 an episode for her guest judge stint.

Fox execs: Katy Perry, Victoria Beckham will be Idol guest judges - TCA Report

by Joel Keller, posted Aug 6th 2009 1:39PM
Simon CowellAs you might expect, most of the questions for Fox entertainment president Kevin Reilly and chairman Peter Rice this morning were Idol -centric. Here are the salient points:

According to Rice, Paula Abdul was the only member of Idol whose contract was up. They were talking to her about it for months, and they very much wanted her to return. In past few weeks, "negotiations came to conclusion, as Rice put it. "We made a fair offer with a substantial raise. Paula decided not to return. It was not our choice. We wanted her to return to the show."

They are most likely looking to keep the number of judges at four, but Rice feels they have between now and January's live shows to find a judge. "We're looking to bring different element and energy to the season." There will be guest judges during the audition process, including Victoria Beckham and Katy Perry. Rice and Reilly wouldn't announce who else, but they said that these would be mostly female singers, artists, and performers.

More from the exec session coming up.

Will Project Runway winner be fierce with Ugly Betty?

by Allison Waldman, posted Mar 29th 2008 9:02AM
Christian Soriano and Tim GunnYou know that movie, When Worlds Collide? Okay, maybe it won't be like that, but still. Project Runway season 4 winner Christian Siriano is doing a guest spot on ABC's Ugly Betty, according to TV Guide. As anyone knows who watched this past season -- which was fabulous! -- Christian was one of the most funny and articulate designers in quite a while on the show. And his designs weren't bad either! He's already become famous for his use of the word "fierce." Kinda like Rachael Ray has made EVOO her own trademark term. You watch, someday soon Christian Siriano will name his label Fierce Fashions. (Do I get a piece of the action for that idea?)

Victoria Beckham has Fashion Nightmares?

by Allison Waldman, posted Mar 6th 2008 12:58PM
Victoria BeckVictoria Beckham, a.k.a. Posh Spice, would have to go a long way to be compared to the foul-mouthed, in-your-face TV chef Gordon Ramsay, but that's what Fox TV is hoping for if they want her proposed new show, Fashion Nightmares, to ape Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares. The net is talking with the former Spice Girl and fashion "scion" with her dvb Style denim brand to do a show in the style of Kitchen Nightmares. In that US version of the BBC hit, the chef goes to troubled restaurants and diagnoses what's wrong and how they must fix it. Ramsay's way includes many expletives deleted and mucho histronics. Like the UK version, Fox's US variation has been a hit.

Project Runway: Finale (season finale)

Folks, we have finally reached the end of the line and, to be perfectly honest, I think I'm okay with that. This season, I haven't felt the same sense of anticipation from week to week. "Isn't there something I'm supposed to do on Wednesdays? Oh. Right. Project Runway." This near-apathy is a far cry from the screaming that had ensued in my house when Wendy Pepper moved into the final three of Season One or when Daniel Vosovic presented in Fashion Week for Season Two. That said, I was pretty satisfied with the top three because they really were the best of the bunch, even though that bunch wasn't so great to begin with.

Walters is tired of celebrities (yeah, right)

by Bob Sassone, posted Dec 6th 2007 11:02PM

Barbara WaltersTonight at 10, the annual Barbara Walters special The 10 Most Fascinating People of 2007 aired on ABC. And on the same day, Walters says that she's tired of celebrity interviews. She says that she's "not going after the tabloid stuff" and "It's a different climate now and 20/20 and the other magazines are focused on the big celebrities. I didn't want to keep doing that, I have been doing it for years." That's why people like Britney Spears and Paris Hilton aren't part of the list.

Or could it be that on no planet at any time would these two people be considered even remotely "fascinating?"
