Grey's Anatomy: Meredith and Derek's wedding website

by Michael Pascua, posted May 5th 2009 5:06PM
Izzie works on the wedding website.Last week on Grey's Anatomy, Izzie mentioned that she created a website for Meredith and Derek's wedding. ABC has teamed up with Theknot.com to create the page.

This isn't Grey's first attempt at web interactivity (a blog from the bar, Steve the intern, and the nurses' station were created; none have been updated in a while). The website isn't miraculous with effects, it comes off as homey and very Izzie (her blog has pink text). If any fan can't wait for Thursday, I'd suggest taking a look at the site to keep the edge off. Taking a look at the website is spoiler free, so anyone who didn't watch Castle on Monday won't see the sneak preview on the website.

Chuck: Chuck Versus the Ring (season finale)

by Allison Waldman, posted Apr 28th 2009 10:19AM
Chuck vs the ring(S02E22) If this was the series finale for Chuck, it was a really satisfying and appropriate wrap up. If, as I'm hoping, it was only the season finale, this was a really satisfying and appropriate set up for the next season of Chuck. Therefore, any way you slice it, Chuck hit a lot of high notes -- including Jeffster's pre-wedding serenade. The show was filled with action, had new information that was just a little bit stunning, and overall, it was terrific.

Have I mentioned how much I love Ellie and Awesome's wedding ? She looked amazing in her wedding gown and after the chapel situation turned into a scene reminiscent of You Only Live Twice with guys parachuting in through the roof (only in Bond it was a volcano), the outdoor, California nuptials were not only nicer, it gave Chuck a chance to give Ellie the wedding she really wanted.

Wedding Watch: Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt

by Katy Kroll, posted Apr 24th 2009 5:45PM
Update: Well, they did it. For real ... supposedly. Yes, Heidi and Spencer walked down the aisle on Saturday -- while the cameras rolled and Lauren Conrad looked on. (Check out PopEater's coverage here.) Based on a poll we put up Friday, only 14% of Inside TV readers thought the duo did it for love. Now we want to know: Will their marriage last?

Will they or won't they? That is the question when it comes to Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt's rumored nuptials. The villainous 'Hills' duo is reportedly tying the knot -- for the second time -- in California tomorrow. With cameras rolling, of course.

Speidi made a big production out of running off to Mexico to elope last year, then claimed they didn't realize the "I do's" weren't legal in the States. And reports are already swirling that tomorrow's semi-secret do-over is being staged just to boost ratings for the 'Hills' finale. You don't say?

We want to know what you think: Will their union stand the test of time?

Here's what's happened on Harper's Island so far

by Bob Sassone, posted Apr 23rd 2009 8:03PM
Sure, sometimes recaps can be unnecessary, but sometimes they're actually welcome, especially if you missed just an episode or two and you want to get caught up. Below is a summary of what has happened so far on CBS' Harper's Island, which airs tonight at 10. It's actually a good little recap for those of us who missed the first two episodes (of course, the full episodes are available too). Catch up before there are so many episodes you say to yourself, "eh, I don't have time to watch this!."

Here is yet another Lost rumor/spoiler

by Bob Sassone, posted Mar 23rd 2009 3:25PM
LostAs the title suggests, THIS IS A POSSIBLE SPOILER. IF YOU DON'T WANT TO BE SPOILED, PLEASE TURN OFF YOUR COMPUTER AND RUN FROM THE ROOM WITH YOUR FINGERS IN YOUR EARS.

We've heard about the possible deaths coming up on Lost at the end of the season. A couple of characters (called major or major-ish by various media outlets) will be gone at the end of the season, and the deaths of at least one of them and maybe both are going to cause some fans to be bummed out for the entire summer until next season. So how about some different news?

The Closer: Good Faith (winter premiere)

"It's what you do. When you're a hammer, everything in the world looks like a nail." -- Pope to Brenda

Did you notice, as I did, that Brenda was more distressed and unfocused while making decisions for the wedding than she was working on the case? By the end of the episode, Brenda finally settled on the when, the where and the how, so all things considered, it was a good day for Brenda...except for that little thing that happened to Daddy.

Meanwhile, returning after a few months off, the cliffhanger was resolved early on and priority homicide was back at work. However, when is an apparent suicide not a suicide? More on that and the cliffhanger after the jump. Also, Clay Johnson.

Dexter marries his sister on New Year's Eve

by Debra McDuffee, posted Jan 10th 2009 3:10PM
Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter of DexterLast April, TV Squad reported that Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter were dating. Dexter dating his sister? The scandal!

I've got to give props to the couple, though ... they got married on New Year's Eve and managed to keep it a secret until yesterday. You think that's a coup, then get a load of this: Reuters reports that the couple dated for about a year and a half before marrying, yet the story of them dating only broke last April. So in this day and age of Hollywood gossip, they managed to keep their relationship a secret for almost a year, if Reuters is accurate.

So is it that the public is somehow respectful of serious actors, and awards them their privacy? Does the public -- and the media -- reserve their obnoxious invasion of privacy for the celebs who thrust themselves into the limelight, through either their bad behavior or the roles they choose?

Regardless, let's quietly extend our congratulations to the happy couple, both for their marriage and the fact that they were able to date and marry in private, with the kind of respect everyone deserves.

Eureka: I Do Over

by Richard Keller, posted Aug 20th 2008 12:06AM

Jack ponders Allison's wedding on the latest episode of Eureka

(S03E04) "Ohh, dude." -- Jack Carter, on learning he would have to memorize a formula for the next time loop shift.

Boy, I do loves me a Groundhog Day episode! No, I don't mean an episode of a show where they pull a helpless groundhog out of its hole in the cold of winter just to "predict" what's coming up in the next six weeks. I'm talking an episode that features some sort of time loop where a character or characters relive a particular day over and over again. As they go along they learn from the mistakes they made in previous loops. Eventually, through some way that usually isn't understandable, the time loop is closed and things move forward. It's been done on past shows like Star Trek: The Next Generation and The X-Files.

Now, Eureka joins their ranks with another Groundhog Day episode. At first, I was looking forward to the episode. And, as it progressed, I really enjoyed how the story expanded and how Carter put the pieces together. Then, came the solution and....Oh, no no no no no! (SPOILERS AHEAD)

How I Met Your Bride? There's a wedding set for October

by Allison Waldman, posted Aug 16th 2008 8:20AM
Sarah Chalke Josh RadnorAfter the season finale of How I Met Your Mother last May, Joel asked readers if they believed that Ted would marry Stella. Nearly 61% of you responded to that poll in the negative. Six out of ten answered: "Nah. I just don't think she's the mother."

So, then, what do we make of the fact that there is definitely going to be a wedding for Ted and Stella in an October episode. That proposal from Ted to Stella in that last episode receives a yes, and he and Stella would seem to be heading down the aisle.

I say seem because if television has taught us anything it's that just because he's in a tuxedo and she's in a wedding gown, that doesn't guarantee that both will say "I do."

Even if they do go through with the wedding, though, does that mean that Stella is actually "mother"? Is it possible that Ted and Stella get married and break up before Ted hooks up with the character who is destined to be the mother that he's talking to the kids about in the openings.

One thing about Mother co-creators Carter Bays and Craig Thomas, they keep us viewers on our toes.

The Closer nuptials? It looks good for Brenda and Fritzie

"Going to the chapel and we're gonna get married,
going to the chapel and we're gonna get married,
gee I really love you and we're gonna get married.
Going to the chapel of love!"

The Closer's
Executive Producer James Duff, told TV Guide -- exclusively -- that a wedding may be in the works. Could Deputy Police Chief Brenda Johnson, a woman who's great at her job but a neurotic mess in her personal life, get it together to actually marry the love of her life, FBI agent Fritz Howard? Could it happen this season?

Gary Coleman weds on remote mountaintop

by Brad Trechak, posted Feb 13th 2008 10:24AM
Gary Coleman and his new wifeAt the age of 40, it looks like Gary Coleman finally tied the knot. The 4-foot-8 actor married 5-foot-7, 22-year-old Shannon Price on a Nevada mountaintop in a private ceremony. The couple met on the set of the movie "Church Ball".

Strangely enough, the couple got married all the way back in August. Price told Inside Edition that the reason for their secrecy was because "I just want my own identity as well because I don't want to be known as Gary Coleman's wife."

VH1's Fab Wedding is a big, fat disappointment

by Anna Johns, posted Aug 11th 2007 2:08PM
my big fat fabulous weddingEarlier this summer, I have to admit that I was a little giddy about a new reality series on VH1 called My Big Fat Fabulous Wedding. To me, it sounded like an adult version of MTV's My Super Sweet 16, which is a huge guilty pleasure of mine. I've concluded that the spoiled brat teen-agers on MTV are much more creative than the riches on VH1.

VH1 plans My Big Fat Fabulous Wedding

by Anna Johns, posted Jul 11th 2007 3:23PM
vh1On July 26th, VH1 is launching what is sure to be another one of my guilty pleasures, My Big Fat Fabulous Wedding. It's like My Super Sweet 16, but starring adults.

The "reality" show will document the nation's most over-the-top weddings as couples attempt to spend some serious cash on their big day. One example? $450,000... on decorations. Another bride demands hand-picked flowers from Ecuador. And we thought those 16-year olds on MTV were high maintenance. There will no doubt be tears and terror over uninvited guests... all the things that make us laugh at rich people. At least, I hope they're rich people. It's one thing if they have the money to blow, but it's something else if they're going deep into debt for a grand wedding.

The Closer: Saving Face

(S03E03) Does anybody else really, really want cake? The scene near the end of this episode where the entire team was eating an angry bride's wedding cake made that cake look so damn good. Yeah, it was a good episode. But, what stuck with me was the cake.

I love when the writers pull out episodes like this one. Sure, there's a dead person and an investigation, but the entire episode still manages to be light-hearted. It all started with Lt. Provenza dropping a coffin down a flight of stairs, then proceeded to a fight between an angry bride and Brenda, and to the entire homicide team eating the bride's $30,000 catering (including that damn cake).
