'Human Target' Season Finale: Taking a (Christopher) Chance

by Jo Garfein, posted Apr 14th 2010 2:00PM
If you haven't been tuning in to 'Human Target,' it's not too late to start this week. The season finale ('Christopher Chance'), which airs tonight at 8PM ET on Fox, presents the perfect opportunity for new and existing fans alike to get a glimpse into the back stories of the series' three lead characters.

'Human Target' -- about mysterious and clever private security contractor Christopher Chance (Mark Valley) who has his own set of rules to protect clients from dangerous and imminent threats -- is original, refreshing, fun and action-packed. Jackie Earle Haley, who plays Chance's well-connected, tech savvy and trustworthy friend Guerrero, accurately describes 'Human Target' as a show where fans "grab a beer, sit on the couch, throw their feet up and take a ride."

'Chuck' vs. WonderCon! Relationship and Finale Scoop from the Cast & Crew

by Jo Garfein, posted Apr 5th 2010 10:30AM
Yesterday at WonderCon, the cast and crew of 'Chuck' gathered in San Francisco to present tonight's new episode ('Chuck vs. The Other Guy'), address fan feedback and discuss the season finale.

According to incredibly affable 'Chuck' star Zachary Levi, they wrapped filming on season 3 two weeks ago. However, he is not a fan of spoilers and heard that there was allegedly a mole on the set of the show. "We didn't even get the last four or five pages of the last script. That's the first time that ever happened. It always boggles my mind that people would want to spoil that. It takes away from the whole experience of any show, especially a show that's so rooted in certain mythologies."

Welcome to 'Happy Town'! The Cast Visits WonderCon

by Jo Garfein, posted Apr 4th 2010 2:00PM
The co-creators/producers and cast of 'Happy Town' presented the first episode of their new ABC series Saturday morning at WonderCon in San Francisco. The enthusiasm was palpable from both behind the scenes and in line as fans eagerly awaited the screening.

'Happy Town' is set in the small suburb of Haplin, a seemingly idyllic, close-knit community in Minnesota. Although the town was haunted by unresolved kidnappings from the past, ignorance had been bliss ... until now. A disturbing crime shakes up the status quo, and the citizens of Haplin begin to fear that the "Magic Man" may have returned.

New DVD set might give hints about X-Files movie

by Bob Sassone, posted Apr 11th 2008 4:22PM

X-Files: RevelationsSo Isabelle posted a story recently about the new X-Files sequel that is supposed to hit theaters this July 25. The movie has been pretty much under wraps, except for a snippet of film here and some behind the scenes photos there. And the cast and crew certainly aren't saying anything about the movie's plot. The only hint we've received is that this movie has more to do with a standalone mystery than the alien mythology storyline from the show (and the first film).

But now I'm slightly confused, as this press release for a new X-Files DVD set says that the set gives a hint as to what we can expect in the movie.

Get Steve - Carell talks about the new Get Smart movie

by Allison Waldman, posted Feb 27th 2008 9:20AM
Carell as SmartLast week, The Office's Steve Carell attended WonderCon 2008, talking about his new movie Get Smart. The picture, which is based on the 1965 NBC (and later CBS) TV series of the same name, will be appearing in theaters around the country on June 20, 2008. While saying that he tried not to channel Don Adams's performance so he could bring something different to the role, in an IESB.net interview with Carell, he said that before he got the part of Maxwell Smart, Agent 86, of CONTROL, both Jim Carrey and Will Ferrell were considered. The film had actually been in development for nearly a decade. Steve recalled going to Warner Brothers for a reading about three years ago. "It was the most surreal moment, because I went in thinking I was just going to audition for a role. I didn't expect them to offer me the part of Maxwell Smart."
