by Catherine Lawson, posted Dec 7th 2011 6:30AM
Alec Baldwin entered into an online tirade against American Airlines last night after he was removed from a flight at LAX airport. The actor was reportedly playing 'Words With Friends' on his cell phone when he was asked to turn it off. According to TMZ flight attendants asked him to shut off his cell phone in the middle of a game after the cabin door closed, but while the plane was still at the gate.
A police source, speaking on condition of anonymity, told 'The Los Angeles Times' that Baldwin was escorted off an American Airlines flight. The source said police were not involved in the incident, which he said was between the airline and the actor.
