It may not have been Mother's Day when the latest episode of 'The Judds' (Sun., 9PM ET on OWN) was filmed, but it couldn't have aired on a more appropriate day. In it, Wynonna Judd brought her mother, Naomi, up on stage during a performance and had her sit nearby on a stool.

"You have been the joy and the intense challenge of my life. To have had this journey with you for 25 years, this is pretty unbelievable," Wynonna said of their lucrative career as a country music duo.

Wynonna then broke into a new song that she'd written to honor her mother. Naomi could do little more than sit there and beam, occasionally reaching over to grasp her daughter's hand.

"My greatest blessing on this earth and this journey has been with you," Wynonna told her.

Sister Wynonna and mother Naomi showed support for Ashley Judd on 'Good Morning America' (weekdays, 7AM ET on ABC), despite the actress' memoir, 'All That is Bitter and Sweet,' in which she was highly critical of her family.

In her new book, Ashley described her family as dysfunctional and said she felt lonely and neglected as a child since her mother and sister were focused on their country music careers. Ashley also claims she was sexually abused by several different men as a child.

Singer Wynonna Judd has had a tough year. But she's a survivor. And she's never been shy about discussing her personal difficulties on the air -- including her arrest for drunk driving, her struggles with her weight, her divorce, and the arrest of her ex-husband ... Wynonna has revealed a lot about herself -- always with the goal of sharing her mistakes in order to help others.

Tonight, on 'Larry King Live' (weeknights, 9PM ET on CNN), Wynonna did it again. Accompanied by her mom, Naomi Judd, Wynonna said that she had nearly died twice this year -- once during a collision with another car. " ... What do you mean, you almost died?" King asked.

Country music singers Wynonna and Naomi Judd were the guests on the latest 'Oprah Winfrey Show' (weekdays, syndicated). Mother Naomi and sisters Wynonna and Ashley Judd have been on 'Oprah' a startling eighteen times, dating back to their first appearance in 1990. But on their latest appearance, there was a little tension between Wynonna and Ashley -- even though Ashley wasn't actually in the studio.

Why wasn't Ashley there? Because she's currently in the Congo, on a humanitarian mission to work against violence towards women. Mom Naomi gushed about this. "I'm so proud of my daughter," she said. But Wynonna seemed less excited: "She's got time [to go to the Congo]; she don't have kids." Okay then.

'I Get That a Lot' (Wed., 8PM ET on CBS) is a reality show where celebrities take regular, working-class jobs. Eventually, the stars are recognized, but then they deny being who they really are. For example, Martha Stewart will refuse to admit to being Martha Stewart, even when she is told that she looks just like her. The inevitable response from the stars on the show is -- you guessed it -- "I get that a lot."

On the most recent episode, one of the stars gets into trouble while meeting someone who isn't actually a fan of his. The bad thing happens to Nick Jonas -- who gets exposed as looking just like Nick Jonas while working undercover in a clothing store.

Unfortunately, the woman who sees him isn't that positive about the whole Jonas Brothers experience. "They're terrible," she says to Nick. "Musically, they're awful." Nick handles the whole thing pretty well, all things considered.

We get a lot of press releases and other PR goodies here at TV Squad HQ; there are so many of them, to be honest, that it takes a lot for one to grab our attention. But this one managed to do it: it's a video clip of the upcoming episode of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. In it, Ty and crew go to Wyoming to help the Miller family rebuild their farmhouse into a haven for not only their family, but the mistreated animals that they have rescued over the years. The reason why they have to rebuild? The house is rife with Radon, and a simple renovation will not clean it all up.

So, instead of imploding the house or demolishing it using a backhoe, Ty and company decide to blow it up. You heard me; watch the video after the jump and you'll see that they blow it up "real good," like it's being attacked by aliens in Independence Day. Here's what I want to know, though: doesn't that make the clean-up, which is now spread among a much bigger area, a whole lot more of a pain in the ass?

Singer Jewel is the next in the revolving door of celebrities who take on hosting duties for Nashville Star. Last season, it was Wynonna and Cowboy Troy (he's returning as co-host), and before that it was Leann Rhimes and Nancy ODell. Even though I swear she had gone pop, the press release from USA says Jewel grew up on country music so I guess that's all it takes. Plus she's a songwriter and musician just like the contestants on Nashville Star are supposed to be. It's an interesting career move, anyway.

Season 5 of Nashville Star premieres on Thursday, January 11th at 10 pm on USA.

The producers of Nashville Star have gone all out with their website. First, you can download individual audio performances immediately after they air. Unfortunately, they don't like Mac users, so I can't tell you how much they cost. But, I do know that there is a charge for each song.

Plus, you can upload your own photo to the Nashville Star website and put yourself in a music video. Kinda corny, I know. But it's the kind of corny that kills time in the cubicle.

All sorts of television shows are new or returning this week. Some highlights include, of course, The Sopranos and the controversial Big Love tonight on HBO. Personally, I'm looking forward to the new Julia Louis-Dreyfus comedy, The New Adventures of Old Christine. I'm hoping she can break the Seinfeld curse this time around. The promos aren't all that promising but I like Louis-Dreyfus enough to give it a shot on Monday.
